About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team at a well-established care home in Taunton. This role is ideal for a nurse who has experience working in a residential or nursing home environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines

Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively

Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, identifying any changes and responding appropriately

*

Work collaboratively with care assistants, healthcare professionals, and management

*

Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

*

Support residents and their families with compassion and professionalism

*

Ensure compliance with CQC standards and care home policies

Requirements

*

Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)

*

Previous care home or elderly care experience preferred

*

Strong clinical and assessment skills

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
