Brook Street are delighted to announce a new opportunity as Registered Manager for an expanding complex care organisation who offer personalised, client-orientated care in the community and home based.


As the Care Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality complex care services in the Cardiff area. You will be responsible for managing care teams, ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) standards, and developing effective care plans to meet the unique needs of each service user. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced care professional to lead and grow a domiciliary services while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service in line with CIW regulations and internal policies
  • Lead, manage, and support a multidisciplinary care team of approx. 40 staff including Care Coordinators, Nurses, and Support Workers
  • Ensure safe, effective, and person-centred delivery of complex care packages in clients' homes and deliver over 1000 care hours in Wales.
  • Undertake initial assessments, develop and review individualised care plans
  • Liaise with commissioners, healthcare professionals, families, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor quality assurance and performance data; lead audits and continuous improvement plans
  • Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain high-quality workforce standards
  • Participate in the on-call rota where required


Requirements

Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults’ Management Wales)

Proven experience in domiciliary or complex care management

Knowledge of CIW regulations and best practices in home-based complex care

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Right to work in the UK
