Doves Care Agency is an established domiciliary care provider delivering around 600 hours of care per week across Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our clients and the high standards we expect from our team.

As the service continues to grow, we are looking for a Registered Manager to help lead the next stage of our journey.

This role would suit an experienced Registered Manager, or a Deputy Manager or Care Coordinator ready to step into their first Registered Manager position.

The Role

As Registered Manager you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service and ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered.


  • Maintaining CQC registration and ensuring the service remains inspection ready
  • Leading, supporting and developing the care team
  • Managing rotas, staffing and service delivery
  • Overseeing safeguarding, complaints and incident management
  • Driving quality assurance, compliance and continuous improvement
  • Building positive relationships with clients, families and local professionals
  • Supporting the sustainable growth of the service


About You

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a domiciliary care management or supervisory role (Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Care Coordinator)
  • Good understanding of CQC standards and care regulations
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
  • Eligibility to become CQC Registered Manager
  • Experience using digital care planning or rostering systems
  • Ability to lead, motivate and support a care team
  • Understanding of rota management, staffing and service delivery
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
