Job Title: Care Home ManagerLocation: Leicester, UKEmployment Type: PermanentSalary: Competitive, based on experienceAbout the Role:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 30 bedded care home located in Leicester. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality care to the elderly and a strong background in managing a care home facility.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of the care home, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory complianceDevelop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and services for residentsRecruit, train, and manage a team of care staff, ensuring they are providing compassionate and effective care to residentsMonitor and maintain the care home's budget, including managing expenses and revenueEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CQC guidelinesMaintain accurate and up-to-date records for residents and staffDevelop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholdersHandle any complaints or concerns from residents or their families in a professional and timely mannerContinuously evaluate and improve the care home's services and facilities to meet the changing needs of residentsAdhere to all health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staffRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role in a care home settingNVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualificationStrong knowledge of CQC regulations and standardsExcellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of budget management and financial planningFlexibility to work weekends and evenings as neededMust be eligible to work in the UKIf you are a dedicated and experienced Care Home Manager looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly residents, we encourage you to apply for this position.
