Regional Sales Manager - Scotland East Location: Edinburgh / Fife / Aberdeen region Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus Scheme + Car Allowance Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Flexible Workforce Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a leading foodservice organisation for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of the Scotland East territory. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-profile portfolio of customers while driving new business growth in a competitive and dynamic sector. The role offers a blend of 60% account management and 40% new business development , ideal for a motivated and commercially minded sales professional with a passion for food and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts across the Scotland East region. Build strong, long-term relationships and act as a trusted partner to customers. Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximise revenue and profitability. Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within your territory. Collaborate closely with internal teams including Procurement, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver outstanding customer service. Prepare and present proposals, performance updates, and regular reporting to senior management. Provide accurate forecasting and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Complete weekly and monthly updates on client activity and outcomes. Plan and manage a structured journey plan to ensure consistent and effective customer visits. About You Minimum 3 years' field sales experience within the foodservice industry. Strong understanding of the hospitality and catering sector (hotels, restaurants, B&I). Previous experience as a chef is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. Highly organised, self‑motivated, and resilient in a fast-paced environment. Genuine passion for food and delivering exceptional service. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
