This is a senior leadership role, partnering closely with General Managers, Operations, and Commercial teams to drive performance, ensure compliance, and support continued growth.Our REACH People ValuesOur values guide how we work, lead, and succeed together:Respect – We treat every colleague, owner, and partner with professionalism and integrityExcellence – We strive for the highest standards in financial accuracy and performanceAccountability – We take ownership of results, decisions, and controlsCooperation – We work collaboratively across hotels and central teams to achieve shared goalsHonesty – We act with transparency and uphold the highest ethical standardsThe RoleAs Regional Director of Finance, you will provide strategic financial leadership across multiple properties, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and strong commercial performance.You will lead and develop a regional finance team, oversee hotel controllers, and act as a key business partner to operational leaders and ownership groups.What You’ll DoLead, develop and manage the regional finance function, including Hotel ControllersOversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reportingDrive annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes across the portfolioEnsure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and audit requirementsLead external audit processes and manage relationships with auditors and ownership groupsSupport General Managers in managing costs, driving profitability, and improving financial performanceEstablish and deliver finance training programmes for operational teamsMaintain and continuously improve finance policies, procedures, and controlsOversee finance systems, including implementations and upgradesManage third-party finance providers and bookkeeping relationshipsLead financial due diligence and system integration for new hotel openings and transitionsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience & QualificationsProven experience in a regional or multi-property finance leadership role within hospitalityMinimum 10 years’ experience in financial managementStrong background as a Hotel Controller across multiple propertiesDegree in Accounting or Finance; ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)Experience leading and developing high-performing teamsSkills & CapabilityStrong technical expertise in financial reporting, controls, and complianceDeep understanding of hotel operations and commercial driversAbility to interpret and communicate complex financial data at all levelsHighly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesConfident leader with a hands-on, collaborative approachStrong systems knowledge (finance systems, PMS, POS and reporting tools)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhy Join SEG?At SEG, you’ll be part of a business that values both performance and people.
