Regional Quality Manager

Location: Glasgow, Scotland (with regional travel)

Package: £60,000 - £70,000 + car or car allowance + benefits

We’re working with a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to appoint a Regional Quality Manager for their operations in Scotland. This is a senior role focused on ensuring robust quality management across a varied project portfolio and driving continuous improvement across the region.

The position requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of quality systems, and the ability to influence teams and stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in promoting smarter working practices, improving efficiency, and supporting the successful delivery of complex projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading regional quality planning, assurance and audit activity
• Supporting project mobilisation with Quality Readiness Reviews
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s BMS
• Driving performance improvement through data analysis and coaching
• Supporting training, awareness, and change initiatives
• Collaborating with internal teams and clients on quality matters
• Supporting bid and tender activity with relevant quality inputs

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a quality management role within rail, highways or civils
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
• Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001:2015)
• Familiar with core quality tools (5 Whys, 8D, FMEA, APQP)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently across a regional remit
