Retail Regional Operations Manager ( Telecoms)

Main responsibilities for the Retail Regional Operations Manager:
As a Regional Operations Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Retail and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the retail network. You will oversee Branch Managers, drive operational standards, support staff development, and ensure high performance across the region.
* Take full responsibility for day-to-day operations across all retail sites
* Ensure all stores operate to consistent standards of efficiency, presentation, and professionalism
* Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, operational standards, and customer experience.
* Line-manage and develop Branch Managers, ensuring strong leadership at every location.
* Set clear expectations and promote accountability across the management team.
* Act as the primary escalation point for operational or staffing issues.
* Oversee staffing levels, workforce planning, and ensure effective scheduling across branches.
* Ensure all retail staff receive consistent training on products, systems, and customer service standards.
* Lead structured onboarding programs and support development of high-potential employees.
* Own the overall customer experience and promote consistent high service standards across stores.
* Support the resolution of complex customer complaints and operational challenges.
* Work with senior leadership to implement new product rollouts and initiatives across all locations.
* Provide regular reporting on operational performance, staffing, and improvement opportunities.
* Ensure clear communication and collaboration between retail teams and senior leadership.
Main Requirements for the Retail Regional Operations Manager:
* Experience within the telecommunications industry in a sales role.
* Proven experience in retail leadership, multi-site management, or operations, with experience in retail telecoms essential.
* Strong track record in managing and developing teams, including managers or team leaders.
* Confident overseeing staffing structures, rotas, and day-to-day operational activities.
* Highly organised, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
* Able to balance hands-on support with strategic leadership across multiple locations.
* Comfortable handling difficult conversations and resolving complex operational challenges.
* Credible and influential leader with the ability to earn trust and respect at all levels.
* Strong communicator capable of motivating and guiding multiple teams.
* Passionate about building structure, improving systems, and optimising operational performance.

* Monday to Friday ( on site / hybrid based)/ Salary £50,00-£55,000 dependent on experience
