The Role of Transport Logistics Manager
You will lead the Upstream Logistics operation, supporting the delivery of service, capacity, cost, compliance, and sustainability targets. This is a hands-on role working closely with both internal teams and 3PL partners.
Responsibilities
Supporting the supply chain strategy for Upstream Logistics and keeping up-to-date with industry developments.
Managing inbound shipments of raw materials, samples, and finished goods via air, sea, and road.
Coordinating documentation, quotations, and shipment tracking to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
Overseeing QC processes at the warehouse, supporting issue resolution, and monitoring KPIs.
Managing stock putaway and storage procedures, including training warehouse teams.
Supporting inventory management, including allocation across channels and accuracy of master data.
Assisting with compliance and sustainability initiatives, tracking relevant KPIs.
Contributing to planning and budgeting for upstream logistics operations.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in upstream logistics, ideally within the luxury fashion or high-value retail sector.
Proven experience managing 3PL logistics operations.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
Experience building, developing, and managing small teams.
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong initiative, ownership, and follow-through, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Proficient in relevant systems and Microsoft Office.
