Job Title: Regional Facilities Manager, South

Salary: £57,000

What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic liaison between stakeholders & supply chain, ensuring FM service delivery aligns and supports business strategies
  • Working alongside the FM Business Support team
  • Delivering management information and tailoring innovation to support business strategies
  • Preparation and delivery of review packs
  • Drive operational excellence of the supply chain throughout the wider FM delivery
  • Geographically aligned with supply chain partners’ Regional Operations Managers, travelling between applicable sites to ensure FM presence is visible to stakeholders
  • Actively contribute to and drive Energy performance, working towards stretch targets and seeking innovative solutions for our customers
  • Supply chain management
  • Ensure a focused, well balanced and consistent Hard & Soft FM service is delivered via our supply chain partners
  • Drive performance improvement through robust supply chain reviews
  • Ensuring customer feedback is sought and acted upon through the feedback process
  • Working alongside the Risk & Compliance Manager and the wider SHE Network, contribute to assurance processes to ensure a safe and compliant estate
  • Responsible for managing the cost profile for their property portfolio, including financial forecasting, budget setting and engaging with the wider finance team
  • Ownership of forward plans with a view to providing a joined-up approach to a strategic property/estate plan that is agreed by all applicable stakeholders i.e. RE&I, stakeholders, Security

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience of general Facilities Management, including Hard & Soft disciplines
  • Ability to build and grow relationships with key stakeholders
  • Good supply chain management skills
  • Safety qualified such as IOSH (or equivalent)

Desirable:

  • Energy & Utilities awareness
  • Robust knowledge of QSHE requirements
  • NEBOSH Qualified (Diploma)

The Facilities Management (FM) team:

You will be joining a team working with mixture of premises – manufacturing and offices, mix of old and new buildings, allowing you to be part of innovation and creative solutions, driving performance.

Through exposure to BAE Systems business and different facilities they operate in, you can have a direct influence in the Carbon Net Zero Drive, whilst growing in the FM team and the wider Shared Services area, providing insight into the business as a whole, within a fast paced environment.

Focusing primarily on customer interface, FM and property strategy and the robust management of WPS supply chain, the FM Regional Manager will operate remotely delivering the WPS Intelligent Client operating model, providing a strategic and holistic approach to the delivery of Facilities Management to the customer/s, aligned with their business strategies.
