Job Description

Catch 22 are working with a leading social care provider to recruit an experienced Regional Facilities Manager to oversee a portfolio of approximately 10 schools and children's residential homes across the Newcastle Region. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage and lead on-site maintenance teams, as well as a mobile maintenance team across smaller sites.\nOversee Capex and R&M budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery and regulatory compliance.\nWork closely with operational teams to align site requirements with budgets and service needs.\nManage external contractors and suppliers, ensuring high-quality planned and reactive works.\nSupport larger capital projects alongside the development team.\nMaintain safe, well-managed environments that directly impact service users' wellbeing.\nIdeal Candidate:\n\nProven multi-site estates/facilities management experience, from a care, education or retail setting would be advantageous.\nStrong project management experience from inception to completion.\nSkilled in managing contractors, schedules of works, and tender processes.\nAnalytical, methodical, detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel.\nHighly organised, flexible, and resilient, with excellent communication skills.\nDriving licence and access to own vehicle.\nDegree or professional qualification in a relevant field .\nThis is a permanent position, paying a salary of £60,000 + car allowance and would be an excellent opportunity to joining a growing and rewarding organisation. \n\nIf interested in this position, please apply or get in touch with Laura Hastings on or (phone number removed)
