Regional Commercial Manager – Building Services (MEP)\n\nYorkshire & North East\n\n£70,000 – £110,000 + Car Allowance & Full Package\n\nA well-established, medium-sized MEP contractor is seeking a Regional Commercial Manager to take commercial responsibility for its Yorkshire and North East region, delivering circa £25m annual turnover.\n\nThis is a key leadership role within a growing regional business unit. The position would suit either:\n\n * \n\n An experienced Commercial Manager with a proven track record in large-scale building services projects, or\n\n * \n\n A high-calibre Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a broader commercial leadership role.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will hold full commercial oversight across multiple MEP projects, typically within large-scale commercial, healthcare, education, industrial or mixed-use developments.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * \n\n Regional commercial leadership across live projects and pre-construction support\n\n * \n\n Managing and mentoring Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff\n\n * \n\n Overseeing cost planning, procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts\n\n * \n\n Managing risk, contract compliance and commercial reporting\n\n * \n\n Driving margin improvement and cost control across the region\n\n * \n\n Working closely with Regional Directors and operational teams\n\n * \n\n Client-facing commercial management and strategic input\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Strong MEP / Building Services background (essential)\n\n * \n\n Experience delivering large-scale mechanical and electrical projects\n\n * \n\n Proven commercial management of multi-project regional portfolios\n\n * \n\n Strong contractual knowledge (JCT / NEC)\n\n * \n\n Experience managing and developing commercial teams\n\n * \n\n Commercially astute, confident and able to operate at senior level\n\nThis role requires someone who understands the complexity of building services packages and can manage commercial performance at both project and regional level.\n\nSalary & Package\n\n * \n\n £70,000 – £110,000 (depending on experience level)\n\n * \n\n Car allowance or company car\n\n * \n\n Pension\n\n * \n\n Bonus\n\n * \n\n Full benefits package\n\nThis is a significant opportunity within a stable and growing contractor offering autonomy, progression and regional influence.\n\nFor a confidential discussion, contact Darren Gray via Parkinson Gray Associates (number available on our website)
