Interim Regeneration Consultant -Capital and Infrastructure Delivery

Contract: 3-4 months (with potential extension)
Location: Midlands (hybrid - 2 days onsite)
Rate: Competitive

Overview

An opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to support a portfolio of infrastructure and regeneration projects, focused on progressing schemes from feasibility through to procurement (design & build stage).

This role is suited to someone with strong technical awareness across civil engineering and public realm projects, capable of managing multiple workstreams at pace.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility studies across a range of infrastructure schemes
• Progress projects to procurement-ready stage (design & build)
• Coordinate technical inputs across internal and external teams
• Manage multiple schemes including:
• Public realm improvements
• Pedestrian / cycle infrastructure
• Bridge upgrades and widening
• Engage with private landowners, developers, and external stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with funding and regeneration objectives

Key Requirements

• Strong background in infrastructure / civil engineering project delivery
• Experience across early project stages (RIBA 0-4 or equivalent)
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent schemes
• Proven stakeholder engagement, including private sector interface
• Public sector experience preferred
