Gr8 Connect are currently recruiting Temporary Refuse Loaders to work with our waste management client based in Chertsey. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team that keeps the local area clean and tidy.


Key Requirements

You must have:


  • Minimum 3 months experience working in waste, recycling or refuse collection
  • Good understanding of on-the-job health & safety
  • Ability to work early starts and in all weather conditions
  • Good level of spoken English to follow instructions
  • Right to work in the UK

Main Duties


  • Working as part of a crew on refuse and recycling collection rounds
  • Loading bins, bags and recycling containers onto the refuse vehicle
  • Walking distances throughout the shift, often at a brisk pace
  • Ensuring safe working practices at all times
  • Providing a professional and polite service to the public when required

Shift Details


  • Typical start times: early mornings (around 05:0007:00)
