Refrigeration Engineer & AC Engineer\n\n Mobile Role – Covering Sites Across England\n £45,000 - £47,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Company Van (Personal Use Included)\n Monday – Friday | 08:00–17:00 (40 hours/week)\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nWinner Recruitment’s Facilities Management team is proud to be partnering with a respected, family-run service provider in their search for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer & AC Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business that values its people and delivers expert solutions to a broad range of commercial clients.\n\nThis mobile role will involve a 60/40 split between air conditioning and refrigeration duties, with a mix of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor installations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Perform PPM (planned preventive maintenance) and reactive repairs on a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including:\n\n * \n\n VRV/VRF systems\n\n * \n\n Split systems\n\n * \n\n Cold rooms\n\n * \n\n Chillers\n\n * \n\n Carry out minor installations of AC and refrigeration units as required.\n\n * \n\n Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to restore functionality.\n\n * \n\n Complete all relevant service reports and documentation accurately and on time.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with clients on-site, maintaining excellent customer relationships.\n\n * \n\n Ensure full compliance with health & safety and company regulations at all times.\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in a similar Refrigeration Engineering role.\n\n * \n\n Relevant qualification, ideally NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent).\n\n * \n\n FGAS certification (Category 1) is essential.\n\n * \n\n Additional qualifications such as CO2 handling are advantageous.\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams/manuals.\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and customer service skills.\n\n * \n\n Comfortable using handheld devices for job logging and reporting.\n\n * \n\n Full UK Driving Licence.\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary: £45,000 - £47,000\n\n * \n\n Door-to-door pay — get paid for your full travel time\n\n * \n\n Company van provided (can be used for personal use)\n\n * \n\n Stable Monday to Friday hours with no shift work\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work across diverse commercial sites\n\n * \n\n Supportive, family-run business culture\n\nApply Now\n\nIf you're a skilled and motivated AC & Refrigeration Engineer looking for your next career move, we want to hear from you.
