From our Blisworth hub, we coordinate hundreds of vehicle movements each week, requiring a dependable workforce of skilled Trade Plate Drivers. We are expanding and seeking a proactive Recruitment Consultant to help grow and maintain our driver network.Role OverviewWe are seeking an energetic, organised, and people-focused Recruitment Consultant to support the ongoing attraction, selection, and onboarding of self-employed, full-time Trade Plate Drivers.The ideal candidate will manage the full recruitment lifecyclefrom sourcing candidates to onboardingensuring a consistent supply of high-quality, compliant drivers to support the business.This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys people-focused work, and is confident managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Attraction & SourcingSource and attract Trade Plate Drivers through adverts, job boards, social media, referrals, and local outreach.Write and post engaging job adverts tailored to driver audiences.Build and maintain a talent pool of active and passive candidates.Screening & SelectionConduct phone screenings, interviews, and right-to-work checks.Assess driving experience, communication skills, and suitability for full time hours on a self-employed basisCoordinate driving licence checks and compliance documentation.Onboarding & ComplianceGuide candidates through onboarding, ensuring all documentation is complete.Liaise with internal teams to schedule induction, training, and start dates.Maintain accurate records in recruitment and HR systems.Stakeholder & Operational SupportWork closely with the operations and transport coordination team to understand driver demand.Provide regular updates on recruitment pipelines, challenges, and solutions.Support the business during peak periods by increasing candidate acquisition activity.Relationship ManagementBuild strong relationships with candidates to improve retention post-placement.Act as a point of contact for new starters, monitoring early performance and attendance.Skills & ExperienceRequiredPrevious experience in recruitment (in-house or agency).Strong communication and people skills.Ability to manage multiple vacancies and deadlines.Highly organised with good attention to detail.Confidence using recruitment systems, CRM platforms, and job boards.Ability to work independently and proactively.DesirableExperience recruiting drivers or logistics personnel.Understanding of trade plate driving, transport, or automotive operations.Geographical knowledge of the UK.What We OfferCompetitive salary.20 days annual leaveCareer progression within recruitment or wider operations.Supportive team environment with training provided.Modern office location in Blisworth, with access to onsite café and facilities Opportunity to directly influence workforce quality and company performance.JBRP1_UKTJ
