About the Role:
As a Recovery Worker, you’ll provide comprehensive support to clients with alcohol dependency, guiding them through their recovery journey. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, offering tailored interventions and promoting harm reduction strategies to help clients achieve lasting change.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing a caseload of clients with alcohol dependency, developing person-centred recovery plans.
* Conducting assessments to identify client needs, risks, and goals.
* Delivering harm reduction advice and structured interventions, including relapse prevention.
* Facilitating one-to-one and group recovery sessions.
* Liaising with external services to ensure seamless care coordination.
What You’ll Need:
* Enhanced DBS clearance (essential).
* Experience working with alcohol-dependent clients in a recovery-focused setting.
* Strong knowledge of harm reduction, safeguarding, and alcohol misuse interventions.
* Excellent communication and case management skills.
What’s on Offer:
* Competitive hourly rate of £18.50 - £20.00 (dependant on experience).
* Monday-to-Friday working schedule with no weekend shifts.
* Initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.
