Right now, we are looking for a Recovery Outreach Worker to play a pivotal role in our Complex Needs Service in Kensington and Chelsea.
\nSounds great, what will I be doing?
\nThis role provides person-centered support to service users, focusing on increasing independence, maintaining accommodation, and improving quality of life. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing SMART support plans, delivering home or community-based support, facilitating access to medical and community services, and minimizing hospital admissions for mental health. The role also involves working with external agencies, developing interventions for hard-to-engage users, and promoting ongoing engagement with support networks.

\nHere's what the team will be looking for
\nThe ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with mental ill health and complex needs, particularly within community or outreach settings. They should be skilled in helping service users work toward their goals and aspirations using a person-centred, recovery-focused approach.
\nStrong knowledge of mental health issues—including signs, symptoms, and treatments—and the ability to respond appropriately to changes in service users' wellbeing is essential. The candidate should also understand health and safety requirements for working in the community, and have experience with key working, support planning, and safeguarding practices.
\nA sound understanding of equality, diversity, and the promotion of service user rights, dignity, privacy, and choice is required. Knowledge of relevant welfare benefits and safeguarding legislation is also key to the role.
