About the Role\n\nJoin a dynamic Treasury team in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and deadlines matter. This role involves managing daily cash reconciliations, maintaining client cash flows, and supporting trade settlements. You'll work closely with the Client Service Manager and gain exposure to core Treasury operations, with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.\n\nLocation: Manchester (4 days onsite, 1 day flexible)\n\nInterview: One round, remote\n Schedule: Not standard 9-5, overtime required\n\nRole Overview\n\nThis role sits within the SLO/CDO (Collateral Loan Obligations) department, managing a portfolio of deals under an umbrella structure.

It involves complex operational work requiring strong analytical and technical skills, with a focus on cash reconciliations and data accuracy.\n\nCore Requirements (Essential)\n\nMinimum 1 year experience in cash reconciliations\nStrong Excel skills (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)\nSolid accounting or finance knowledge\nAbility to work with data and systems\nHigh numerical aptitude (Maths/Excel)\nInnovative and adaptable mindset\nWillingness to work overtime when required\n\nPreferred\n\nFinancial Services background\nCLO/CDO experience (preferred but not essential)\nExposure to structured finance or portfolio management\nDegree in finance/accounting (other degrees considered if strong analytical skills)\nPrevious experience in complex financial products\n\nAdditional Notes\n\nMaternity cover role\nLimited scope for training compared to previous hires (needs someone who can hit the ground running)\nCandidate must be comfortable with a demanding schedule and tight deadlines\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nPerform daily cash reconciliations and ensure data accuracy before submission.\nUpdate and maintain client cash flows in line with SLA requirements.\nBook foreign exchange and trades for settlement.\nMonitor trade settlements using internal systems and resolve discrepancies.\nCollaborate with teams to maintain reporting accuracy.\nSupport client-facing activities and operational delivery.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nStrong Excel skills (formulas, data manipulation).\nComfortable working with numbers and financial data.\nHighly organised, deadline-focused, and proactive.\nA finance-related qualification or relevant experience in financial services.\nFamiliarity with Solvas, IMS, or GSP systems is a plus.\nInterest in digital tools and AI is welcomed.\n\nWork Environment\n\nOffice-based 4 days per week (non-negotiable).\nNot a standard 9-5 role - peak periods may require extended hours.\nCompetitive pay for commitment and reliability.\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nOpportunity to build a career in Treasury or broader financial services.\nSupportive team environment that values accuracy and accountability.\nClear pathway to permanent employment for high performers
