Receptionist

Rolling contract – likely 2-3 months – up to £14 per hour PAYE

Moorgate, London based

40 hours per week – Monday-Friday – 8am-5pm


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and couriers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
  • Provide basic information to visitors and callers about the organization
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Support other departments with ad hoc administrative duties
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Ensure security procedures are followed by monitoring visitor access


Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
