Receptionist
Rolling contract – likely 2-3 months – up to £14 per hour PAYE
Moorgate, London based
40 hours per week – Monday-Friday – 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and couriers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
- Provide basic information to visitors and callers about the organization
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Support other departments with ad hoc administrative duties
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Ensure security procedures are followed by monitoring visitor access
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
