Weneed a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Canton from September. This is a full-time position supporting within a Reception class, ideal for someone passionate about early years education and making a real impact from the very start of a child’s learning journey.

About the Role:

Full-time position (Monday–Friday)
Working closely with the class teacher in a Reception setting (Early Years)
Supporting children with their learning, development, and social skills
Assisting with phonics, early numeracy, and play-based learning
Creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
Support school trips
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience working within Early Years / Reception
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, enthusiastic, and patient approach
Confidence supporting a range of abilities, including additional learning needs
Additional Information:

Driving is not essential, as the school is accessible via public transport
On-site parking available for those who drive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
