A high-performing, two-form entry primary school in Islington is seeking a committed Reception Teacher to join its Early Years team from September 2026. Graded Outstanding by Ofsted, the school is widely recognised for its strong leadership, excellent behaviour and strong outcomes across EYFS, serving a diverse cohort of over 400 pupils.

Permanent Reception Teacher role paid Inner London M1M5 with excellent CPD and clear progression routes
Supportive Early Years team and experienced leadership, enabling a Reception Teacher to develop quickly
Well-resourced EYFS provision with strong outdoor learning and a collaborative two-form entry structure
Strong pupil outcomes with over 80% achieving GLD, alongside approx. 20% SEN and 10% EHCPs supported effectively
Deliver a high-quality EYFS curriculum as a Reception Teacher, ensuring strong progress from baseline
Work closely with support staff to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN
Assess and track pupil development accurately as a Reception Teacher
Build positive relationships with families and contribute to the wider school community
QTS is essential for this Reception Teacher role with a secure understanding of the EYFS framework
A Reception Teacher must be confident supporting a range of needs and adapting provision accordingly
Strong communication skills and a reflective approach are key for any successful Reception Teacher
