The Role Position: Reception Class Teacher (EYFS) Location: Ealing, London, UK Start Date: 30/04/2026 Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary (Term Time Only) Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Salary: £37,870 – £50,474 per annum (M1–M6) Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to U3.
You’ll take the lead in delivering a rich, engaging Early Years curriculum, creating a classroom where curiosity thrives and every child feels supported to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons aligned with the national curriculum • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents • Foster a love of learning and support children’s social and emotional development
Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential • Proven experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception • Strong understanding of the Early Years Framework • A creative, enthusiastic, and nurturing teaching approach • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
