A leading international firm is seeking to hire a talented Real Estate Finance Senior Associate into its London team as part of continued strategic growth within its highly respected finance practice.

You will join a top‑tier platform known for:

• Advising lenders, sponsors and institutional investors on sophisticated, high‑value real estate finance transactions
• Acting on cross‑border financings across Europe, the Middle East and other key markets
• Broad expertise spanning loan‑on‑loan structures, back‑leveraged financings and complex multi‑layered capital stacks
• Providing commercially focused, solutions‑driven advice directly to deal teams and senior stakeholders
• Seamless collaboration with colleagues across Finance, Corporate, Funds, Tax and sector groups on premium mandates
• Offering associates early responsibility, direct client exposure, and opportunities for international work

This is a team operating at the top end of the real estate finance and private capital markets, handling transactions where judgement, strategic insight and commerciality are essential.

The Role

You will advise on a wide range of high‑value real estate finance matters, including:

• Investment and development financings for major lenders and sponsors
• Loan‑on‑loan transactions and back‑leverage financings
• Cross‑border and pan‑European financings involving complex structuring
• Advising financial institutions, private capital providers and alternative lenders on acquisitions, refinancings and strategic transactions
• Ongoing advisory support to borrowers, sponsors and finance stakeholders
• Business development, client relationship engagement and helping shape the continued growth of the practice

About You

The team is open to exceptional candidates from leading finance practices, including:

• UK‑qualified lawyers with 5–7 PQE (flexibility either side for the right candidate)
• Strong experience in real estate finance, ideally in the UK market
• Backgrounds from top‑tier international, Magic Circle, Silver Circle, and US firms
• Excellent drafting skills, technical strength and a confident client‑facing approach
• Commercial, proactive, and comfortable managing complex workstreams independently
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced international environment
