We are partnering with a top-tier international law firm with a leading reputation in commercial real estate, on an exciting opportunity for a 3+ PQE Real Estate Associate. This is a client-focused role, offering a unique chance to work as part of a dedicated delivery team for one of the firm’s major clients, combining exposure to high-value transactional work with a flexible, forward-thinking working model.


The Role


You will act as a key legal resource for a major client, operating within a structured delivery model that leverages innovation and legal technology to provide efficient, high-quality advice. The role is flexible, allowing for a primarily home-based arrangement with regular visits to the Leeds office (once-twice per month) and occasional trips to London for client meetings and initial training.


You will have the opportunity to:


  • Develop deep sector knowledge and strong client relationships by focusing on a single, high-profile client.
  • Work within a progressive team that values innovative approaches, including the use of generative AI and other legal tech tools.
  • Manage your own caseload, including drafting and negotiating commercial leases, ancillary documents, and handling tenant due diligence.
  • Supervise junior lawyers and paralegals, providing guidance and support.
  • Contribute to wider client account initiatives, including precedent development, process improvements, and collaboration across the firm’s delivery team.


Your Skills & Experience


The successful candidate will have:


  • 3+ years PQE in commercial real estate in England & Wales, preferably with a focus on L&T work
  • Strong technical skills in lease drafting, negotiation, and management of high-volume transactional matters.
  • Excellent client service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate clearly.
  • Experience in high-paced, team-oriented environments, with exposure to legal technology tools and structured processes.
  • A proactive, commercially-minded approach with a focus on identifying risks, opportunities, and practical solutions.
