A well-established building services and facilities maintenance provider is looking for a skilled Reactive Maintenance Engineer (Fabric) to join their team. The company supports a range of commercial properties, including offices, retail sites, healthcare facilities, schools, and mixed-use buildings. Most work involves maintaining and repairing building fabric elements, ensuring sites remain safe, functional, and presentable.

Key Responsibilities:

* General fabric maintenance, repairs, and small works across commercial sites

* Carpentry, joinery, and door repairs

* Basic plumbing and patch plastering

* Painting, decorating, and finishing tasks

* Attending reactive call-outs for urgent building or fabric issues

* Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard

Requirements:

* Strong, all-round background in building fabric maintenance

* Full UK driving licence (essential)

* Ability to work independently across multiple sites

* Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work (on call)

* Good communication and problem-solving skills
