As our teams grow, we are on the lookout for our next Raw Materials and Supplier Assurance Manager. Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing: Ensure the highest standards of compliance and food safety within the raw material supply based. Manage and Close out all Supplier related Non-Conformances. Engaged with suppliers to build relationship, ensure food safety and quality and strengthen our business position on all matters relating to Raw Materials. Support site technical team on all matters relating to raw materials and risk assessment during external audits. Here are some key areas we think you can impact in this role: Implement a supply base risk assessment and raw material protocol. Work alongside the site technical leads to ensure that all Raw Material issues are reviewed, investigated, and closed out in line with the requirements of our customers and third-party certification bodies. Support and Develop our small artisan supply base to ensure we maintain the correct level of food safety and compliance. Support procurement and supply chain teams in the assessment and on boarding of new suppliers. Our team tell us you will be a great addition if you BSc or above professional qualification in Food Safety or similar field (Desirable) 5+ years high risk food manufacturing experience, preferably in a Supplier Assurance/Supplier Auditing role. Level 3 HACCP Lead Audit Qualification (Desirable)
