We're seeking an ambitious and proactive Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team of a tier-one rail contractor working on HS2. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the commercial team, gaining hands-on exposure to projects and progressing quickly in your career.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial administration, including managing records and reports. Processing and reconciling timesheets. Tracking project costs and ensuring accurate records. Assisting with cost reconciliation and reporting. Progressing into forecasting, subcontractor management, and broader commercial duties.

Requirements:

Ideally degree or diploma qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (but attitude and willingness to develop are just as important). Previous contractor-side experience on rail projects is preferred. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility over time.
