Contract Manager – Inside IR35 | Remote (UK Travel Required) Contract | Leading Global Power & Energy Projects\n We’re seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join a major engineering organisation driving some of the UK’s most complex infrastructure and energy projects. \nThis is a remote role with UK site visits, operating inside IR35\n\nAs a Contract Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of contracts and project assignments, ensuring full adherence to established contract and claims management frameworks. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to project teams, providing clarity, leadership and commercial precision across all contractual matters.\n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nManage an assigned portfolio of contracts or project-specific agreements, ensuring compliance with contract and claims management methodologies.\nProvide leadership and expert guidance to cross‑functional teams on all contract-related matters.\nBuild effective contract strategies aligned with company policies, customer requirements and project execution plans.\nIdentify contract baselines, analyse risks/opportunities, and validate all incorporated documents.\nOversee the commercial execution of contracts and subcontracts, including payments, claims, variation orders, guarantees and warranties.\nEnsure all parties fulfil their contractual obligations and verify full close-out requirements.\nCollaborate closely with Legal teams to develop negotiation strategies and support dispute resolution, litigation or arbitration activities\nDraft, negotiate and finalise agreements across both Sales and Project Execution phases. \n\nBSc in Quantity Surveying (RICS certified or working towards certification ).\nExtensive experience within EPC power , substations, converter stations, transmission, grid integration, or similar industrial project environments.\nStrong background in Contract Management and Subcontract Management, ideally with civil/electrical installation exposure.\nProven capability in administering standard form contracts and drafting contractual documents.\nSolid experience in change management, claim management and contract-related legal issues.\nHands-on experience working under common law jurisdictions.\nConfident interfacing with customers and subcontractors across all contractual and project matters.
