Based from the Warrington office and supporting sites across Manchester and Lancashire, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.You will work closely with an experienced Commercial Manager and site teams within a well-structured, collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging project costs across multiple new build housing sitesSubcontract procurement, negotiation, and appointmentPreparation of budgets, cost plans, and valuationsMeasurement and valuation of works (including variations)Cost reporting and forecastingManaging subcontractor accounts and final accountsSupporting commercial strategy and value engineeringEnsuring projects are delivered within budget and margin targetsRequirementsProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within new build housing/residential developmentStrong knowledge of subcontract procurement and cost controlAbility to manage multiple sites/projects concurrentlyExcellent commercial awareness and negotiation skillsRelevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)Full UK driving licenceThe CompanyThis is a large, award-winning housing developer with an excellent industry reputation for build quality, customer satisfaction, and employee retention.
