My client require the services of a 2 to 4 or 3 to 6 year commercial candidate, ideally coming from the building envelope sector. Preferable sectors include curtain walling, glazing, cladding or glass and secondary to that, structural steel, architectural metalwork, SFS, RC Frame or scaffolding.
If you're a commercial candidate that is working for a Tier 1 or 2 contractor as a Package Surveyor and worked within the building envelope scope, then please don't hesitate to reply.
Duties include:
Overall responsibility for delivering the project within budget and project specification as tendered Administer and manage financial aspects of the project from handover to completion Responsible for reporting costs, purchasing materials, labour and specialists services within budget Manage and update the client expectations, along with regular cost reports, applications and reporting delays & claims Prepare applications for the project as required and in accordance with the contract payment schedule, including sales forecast cash flow for upstream reviews Negotiate contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors, clearly defining scope, programme requirements and responsibilitiesFor the right candidate, my client would look to pay up to £65k plus package for the right person.
