\n Responsibilities \n We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our major projects Devonport team, supporting them with the redevelopment of 10 dock at Devonport Dockyard. \n Your day to day will include: \n \n Manage commercial resources (finance) of assigned project (or section) to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts \n Provide commercial expertise to contracts, including the production and submission of valuations, claims, budget monitoring and contract/ workstream performance data \n Asses, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group policies for risk management \n Support the authorisation ad submission of project variations. Authorise the placement of contracts, subcontracts, material, and plant orders \n Maximise cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers.
