We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Southampton. The business operates across sectors including education, residential and commercial across Hampshire, Berkshire and Dorset. The business is in a period of sustained growth and is looking to ring an additional Quantity Surveyor into the team.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial conception through to completion. You will be reporting into an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
Manage sub-contract procurement
Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
Deal with final accounts
Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:
Have a HNC / construction related degree
Have administered JCT / NEC forms of contract
Must have the full right to work in the UK
Must live within commutable distance to Southampton.
Whats on offer in return:
Salary: Up to £55k
