Job description - the role
On behalf of PwC, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor for a 12 week contract based in London or Birmingham hybrid.
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and contractual delivery of a major infrastructure construction package. The role involves managing costs, contracts, and commercial reporting while working closely with site teams.
What you'll do:
Cost & Commercial Management
Support cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and value tracking. Measure and assess works on site to support valuations and payment applications.Contract Administration
Maintain accurate contract records and commercially compliant documentation.Stakeholder & Site Coordination
Work closely with engineers, planners, construction teams, and subcontractors.The skills you'll need:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, civil engineering, or major construction projects. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and site information. Confident managing subcontract packages, valuations, and variations. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
