Currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a client that will provide commercial support to project teams, maintaining accurate commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and organizational objectives. They will liaise with client representatives and other stakeholders on commercial matters, including the agreement of variations, claims, and any additional payments. Projects vary significantly in value, complexity, and duration from established frameworks to bespoke projects and emergency works with budgets ranging from approximately £200k to £10m+. This role is essential in driving efficiency's within the project scope, enhancing cost efficiency, and delivering high standards of commercial analysis. The Quantity Surveyor will demonstrate strong commercial acumen daily by identifying, recording, tracking, and realising commercial opportunities while mitigating business risks. Key Responsibilities: Ensure robust, accurate, and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels.
Maintain accurate cash flow forecasting and reporting.
Manage cost control processes, including forecasting.
Update monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR), as well as cost and commercial plans.
Ensure main contracts have appropriate terms and conditions with commercial risks identified.
