TSR Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor and a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on projects ideally in North Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire and surrounding areas. This permanent opportunity is with a regional construction business working on a range of projects with values ranging from £5m - £10m in value.
Bucking the regional trend of a lack of work, this contractor has a number of projects due to start, largely framework projects including government funded schemes.
This is a long-standing and successful contactor in the region with multiple offices. This role will be based on site or from a satellite office in Mansfield with occasional visits to head office.
The Role
Commercially manage projects ensuring they are completed within budget Take off drawings to produce a bill of quantities Subcontract and supplier approval and procurement Visit site to ensure costs are on track and complete site measures / variation reports Produce cost value reports (CVR) Invoice reconciliation and approval for payment Produce final accounts The Person
