Quantity Surveyor - Milton Keynes - Up to £85K (Dependant on experience)
An experienced Quantity Surveyor is being sought to join an established regional contractor in Milton Keynes, with the opportunity of working remote two days a week. They have a busy 2025 lined up and needing to grow their commercial team to cope with the project demands.
Our clients turnover is rising each year with a concentrated project load within Industrial and Commercial new build projects, employing 50+ staff across the business.
A Quantity Surveyor from a Main Contractor background is required to join their expanding business and support the Commercial Director. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable with delivering Pre and Post contract commercial work. You will play a pivotal role in delivering Commercial activities for the business and managing your own workload as well as developing important relationships within the business and externally.
Responsibilities to include but not exclusive to:
* Oversee material and subcontract buying and POs.
* Issue and negotiation of labour rates with subcontractors.
* Attending projects to undertake valuations of work completed.
* Assisting with pricing of variations throughout the project and supporting the delivery team.
* Attending scoping meetings for new projects.
* Carrying out tenders as required.
* Management of cross-project valuation tracker.
