Quantity Surveyor - Retrofit Delivery Team

Annual Salary: £53,000 to £62,000 Location: Hampshire / Berkshire Job Type: Full-timeJoin our Retrofit Delivery team as a Quantity Surveyor, where you will be instrumental in managing project costs, mitigating financial risks, and ensuring value for money while maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality standards. This role is crucial for overseeing financial performance and ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed terms, maximising commercial benefits.

Day-to-day of the role:

Oversee all commercial aspects of contracts, including procurement, contract negotiation, and review of contracts and purchase orders. Manage project finances, including cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate project estimates, assess commercial risks, and issue contractual notices. Work with external consultants and internal Contracts Managers to review technical design proposals. Conduct site measures, provide monthly valuations of completed works, and issue relevant contract notices. Develop and implement financial management tools, such as CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations), KPIs, and reporting formats to minimize financial risks.
