We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable main contractor in Winchester. The business is privately owned and operates out of offices across the South of England undertaking projects across a range of sectors including education, commercial, healthcare and student accommodation typically valuing up to £25mil. They have been growing in presence across Hampshire and Dorset, and are now looking to expand the commercial team with an additional Quantity Surveyor. About the role of Quantity Surveyor: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be either responsible for your own project or working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor on larger, more complex schemes. You will be involved in the projects from pre-construction through to final account. Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor: Manage sub-contract procurement Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client Deal with final accounts Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position: Have a HNC / construction related degree Have administered JCT forms of contract Must have the full right to work in the UK Must live within commutable distance to Winchester What's on offer for this Quantity Surveyor position: Salary: Up to £65k Company Car / Car Allowance
