Alecto Recruitment is proud to partner with a global leader in the Waste-to-Energy sector. Together, we are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in M&E and Building Services to oversee the civil works across major projects.

£500 p/d (outside IR35) 12-month contract (Starting ASAP)
Responsibilities
Oversee contract administration and procurement activities across M&E and building services packages Track project expenditure and provide robust cost reporting, forecasting, and financial management Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers to secure optimal commercial outcomes and value for money Assist in the preparation of final accounts and the resolution of contractual disputes and claims Leverage BIM and 3D modelling tools to improve precision and productivity in quantity take-off exercises
Qualifications
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, or a closely related field 5-10 years' hands-on experience in M&E and building services quantity surveying In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building services systems and installations Proven experience working within the IChemE suite of contracts Strong grasp of construction contract law and procurement strategies and methodologies Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities Experie...
