My client, a national contractor with a turnover more than £200 million, is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in their team in Weston-super-mare.. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will: * Maintain a strong on-site presence (4 days per week) to oversee cost performance and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle. * Drive financial performance across projects by maximising profit margins, improving efficiency, and optimising cash flow. * Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities. * Lead and support audits as required to ensure commercial and contractual governance. * Oversee contract administration, including claim preparation, subcontractor payments, and commercial negotiations in line with agreed timelines. * Track project progress and performance, maintaining detailed financial records, forecasts, and cost plans. * Produce timely and accurate monthly reports, such as Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs), and supporting commentary.
