Our Client are a growing fit out and refurbishment main contractor with an excellent leadership team who are very well connected within the London market. Following a number of successful project wins they are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team, they are just about to move to new offices based closed to Farringdon and this hire will be part of their continued growth plans. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working within a small but a very collaborative team on projects valued up to about £5million but as they are a growing business could be higher than this. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for: - Placing orders and working with trade contractors - Assist with value engineering and preparing financial reports for the project - Attend design meetings with the production and commercial teams - Prepare, submit and present monthly cost reports - Instruct accounts to invoice clients and pay subcontractors as required - Close out final accounts - Prepare CVRs, manage price updates and manage the internal reporting. Skills; - Experience of working within a commercial role either for a main contractor or subcontractor - Good time management skills - Experienced and confident in negotiating Qualifications; - Degree Educated in Construction Management or Commercial Management.
