Quantity Surveyor OpportunityA specialist contractor operating within the faade and building envelope sector is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor as part of its continued growth. This role will support the commercial delivery of faade packages across a busy project portfolio, working closely with project and site teams to ensure strong financial control from pre-construction through to final account.Our ClientOur client is a well-established faade contractor delivering design, supply and installation of external envelope solutions across the South of England and London. Their work includes technically complex faade packages on new build and refurbishment schemes, partnering with main contractors on residential, commercial and public-sector projects. Typical schemes range from mid-value packages through to large, multi-million-pound developments.Quantity Surveyor Role ResponsibilitiesCommercial management of assigned faade and cladding packagesPreparation and submission of applications for paymentMonthly cost reporting, forecasting and valuation preparationAdministration of subcontractor accounts and payment processesIdentification, pricing and agreement of variationsSupport with subcontract procurement and package comparisonsMeasurement and valuation of works on sitePreparation and agreement of final accountsWorking under standard forms of contract including JCT and NECProject ExposureRainscreen cladding, SFS and insulated faade systemsCurtain walling, external wall insulation and architectural panellingNew build and refurbishment projects, including live environmentsTypical project values from circa £500k to £10mQuantity Surveyor CriteriaProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or specialist subcontractingFaade, cladding or external envelope experience advantageous but not essentialGood working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contractsCommercially aware, well organised and detail focusedComfortable working between office, site and project teamsWhats on OfferCompetitive salary and car allowance25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysSupportive and professional working environmentOngoing training and developmentClear opportunities for progression within a growing businessPlease click apply now if you are interested in learning more or being considered for the position.JBRP1_UKTJ
