Quantity Surveyor/Project Coordinator Braintree Up to £45k Per Annum Job Description: Overview We are working exclusively with a highly regarded construction consultancy who are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially-minded Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a diverse project portfolio, primarily within high-end residential and small commercial developments, typically ranging from £100k to £5m. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing the cost and coordination aspects of multiple projects while supporting the wider team in maintaining programme, quality, and stakeholder expectations. This is a varied role that extends beyond traditional Quantity Surveying, ideal for someone who enjoys being fully embedded in the lifecycle of a project. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects. Manage and monitor project budgets and expenditures, introducing cost control measures to avoid overspend.
Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate project viability from a cost perspective.
