Quantity Surveyor – Groundworks Specialist Location: Sidcup (Office-based) £50,000-£70,000 (DOE) Benefits Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor specialising in groundworks. The role is based in the Sidcup head office and offers the chance to work on a range of challenging and rewarding projects across the region. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all commercial aspects of groundworks projects from start to finish. Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation. Monitor project costs, conduct cost value reconciliations, and report on financial performance. Work closely with project teams to ensure budgets and timelines are met. Identify and manage risks and opportunities to maximise project profitability. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining strong working relationships. Provide accurate valuations and prepare interim and final accounts. Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in groundworks. Solid understanding of commercial and contractual processes. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
