We are partnering exclusively with an established specialist engineering contractor that delivers technically complex and high-profile infrastructure and construction projects across Central London. Our client has a reputation for innovation, quality delivery and a strong self-delivery model, working with in-house teams across major demolition, piling, civil engineering and bespoke reinforced concrete packages.

The Opportunity You will be embedded on a major site-based project within Central London, working closely with the project team to ensure robust commercial control throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting into senior commercial leadership, you'll play a key role in delivering profitable and contractually compliant outcomes on site. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of commercial and contract administration activities on site.
Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks and opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
Collaborate with project management, subcontractors and internal delivery teams to drive cost control, maximise margin and support timely decision-making.
Support the preparation of valuations, variations and financial reporting as required.
Maintain strong working relationships with operational and commercial stakeholders on site.
Ideal Candidate Profile We're looking for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who is: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Experienced within main contracting, ideally on complex site-based projects in Central London or equivalent urban environments.
Confident with UK standard forms of contract (JCT/NEC or bespoke commercial arrangements).
A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Comfortable working predominantly on site in a fast-paced delivery environment.
