Job Description
We are seeking an experienced commercially prolific Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team in The North West, supporting the delivery of responsive repairs contracts within social housing. This is a fast paced role requiring strong cost control, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client is a leading provider of property maintenance and repair services across the UK. They specialise in delivering high quality, customer focused solutions within the social housing sector, ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and well maintained for .\n\nDescription\n\nManage the commercial aspects of responsive repairs contracts from inception to final account\nPrepare, monitor, and control budgets, forecasts, and cost plans\nValue and certify subcontractor work, ensuring timely and accurate payments\nIdentify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks\nProduce monthly cost/value reconciliation reports\nLiaise with operational teams to ensure efficient delivery and cost-effective solutions\nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures\nSupport continuous improvement and drive value for money across all activities \n\nProfile\n\nProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing or maintenance contracts\nStrong knowledge of responsive repairs and planned maintenance environments\nExcellent understanding of cost control, contract administration, and commercial reporting\nExperience managing subcontractors and supply chain relationships\nStrong analytical and negotiation skills\nProficient in relevant software and Microsoft Office\nDegree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying \n\nJob Offer\n\nCompetitive salary of £55,000-£60,000\n10% car allowance\nAnnual Bonus\nLife assurance cover\nHealthcare benefits\nClear progression path into managerial position
