Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor Maidenhead | Residential Conversions & New Builds | February 2025

This is a growing main contractor based in Maidenhead, delivering residential and mixed-use projects across the South East — from office-to-resi conversions to new build schemes up to £15m.

You’ll play a key commercial role within a small, established team — leading on procurement, cost reporting, and subcontract management across multiple live sites.

The Role

Manage commercial duties across multiple residential projects (up to £15m) • Lead procurement, tendering, and subcontract account management • Prepare cost reports, CVRs, and monthly valuations • Support the Senior QS and Commercial Consultant on financial forecasting • Attend site meetings and liaise with delivery teams to track progress and costs What They’re Looking For

Main contracting background (essential) • 5–10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS • Strong procurement and cost reporting capability • Confident managing subcontractor accounts and cost control independently • Solid technical understanding of residential construction The Company This is a privately owned main contractor established in 2010. They specialise in residential conversion and new build projects, currently delivering eight live sites totalling around 300 units across the South East.

The business has grown rapidly from £8m to £20m turnover in recent years and is on track to reach £30m next year, driven by repeat clients and a reputation for delivering quality.
