Quantity Surveyor Rail

6 month initial contract

£350- £450 per day (Outside of IR35)

Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Rail Infrastructure team based in Manchester, working on a range of high-profile and technically complex rail projects.

This is a long-term contract opportunity where you will provide a dedicated pre- and post-contract commercial management service, acting as the primary commercial interface with customers, stakeholders, and delivery teams across your assigned projects.

Qualifications & Background

·Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Rail

·Experience within Rail, Engineering, Defence, or similar construction sectors preferred

·HND / Degree qualified or equivalent (essential)

·Working towards or holding professional membership (RICS, CICES)

·Minimum 5 years’ experience in a contractor-side project environment

·Strong contractual knowledge and understanding

·Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial reporting software
