Quantity Surveyor (M&E)
Location – Dunfermline
Salary – up to £50k per annum DoE
Founded in 2016, providing electrical contractor services for both domestic and commercial applications, Peace Recruitment Services client is a leading electrical and renewables contractor.
Due to Our Clients continued growth plans, they currently seek a Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to work on projects throughout the UK. Projects range from small domestic works to large scale electrical installations for both public and private sector clients.
As an M&E Quantity Surveyor you will oversee the commercial delivery of multiple M&E projects from inception through to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Depending on your level of experience, you will be involved in:
* Assisting with, or taking responsibility for, the preparation and completion of bills of quantities, pricing schedules, and full tender submissions
* Cost planning, forecasting, and monitoring project budgets
* Preparing valuations, managing variations, and assessing subcontractor accounts
* Supporting procurement and contract administration
* Liaising with project managers and engineers to ensure financial and commercial alignment throughout project delivery
* Producing commercial reports and records for internal review
To be considered for this role will hold a relevant qualification and ideally have a minimum of 5-years’ experience in a similar role. In addition, you will have the following skills and experience.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to take ownership of projects.
* Someone driven, proactive, and eager to grow with a growing organisation.
* Experience in building services, M&E, construction.
* Though not essential, experience in solar PV would be considered highly desirable.
